Todd Fields graduated from North Mesquite HS in 1996, where he scored almost 2,000 career points on Varsity. As a senior, he averaged 28ppg, 11.3rpg, 3.4 bpg, 3.6 apg. Fields was all-region, all-state, and second team McDonald’s All American in 1996. He also was considered a top 5 big man in the country leaving high school. Fields signed with Baylor University for the inaugural year of the Big 12. After suffering a severe injury, Fields sat out a year then transferred to finish his collegiate career at the University of Hawaii.
