Jordan has played sports ever since he was in school. He played football and basketball through middle school in a town near Houston called Katy, Tx. He was a 2 year lettermam at Seven Lakes HS in Katy where he graduated in 2008, he continued his basketball career at the college level at Schreiner University where he played 2 years. He transferred to the Dallas area to play at Northlake JC in Irving where he earned his Associates degree.
After graduating he contemplated walking on at UNT in Denton, but before tryouts he tore his ACL, MCL, and meniscus which ended his playing career. After healing, he decided to spend his senior year playing as a member of the “scout team” for UNT’s women’s program. It was then that Jordan feel in love with coaching and wanted to pursue coaching as a career.
Jordan graduated from UNT with a generalist BA in Communications, Kinesiology, and Spanish. He currently works as a teacher and coach in Richardson.
Jordan loves coaching because he was blessed to learn so much in life from sports and wants to utilize his faith and lessons learned to give back and teach those he coaches.
