POINT GUARD / GUARD CAMP is a training camp for players who want to learn the skill sets of a being a dominant point guard and a great team leader.
Point Guard Camp will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
- How to be a leader and team player
- Forcing turnovers without fouling
- Taking a charge
- Increasing Quickness
- Developing footwork, body control, and balance
- How to change the tempo of the game
- Getting to the freethrow line
- Eliminating costly turnovers
- Creating shots for teammates
- Creating shots in late-game situations
- Understanding angles
- How to start a transition break

9 am – 10 am – skills & fundamentals
10 am – 10:45 pm – application drills
11 am – 12 pm – skills & fundamentals
12 am – 12:30 pm – break; small snack provided
12:30 pm – 1 pm –SAQ
1 -2pm - application drills
